Hameed Hassan

Hameed Hassan is one of the highest profile players on the Afghan National team. A fast bowler of epic speeds, he has already played in England for county cricket teams, but Afghanistan is where his heart is. Growing up in a refugee camp, with little opportunity for sport or proper education has motivated Hameed to want to give something back. He is hoping to build a school in his village of Bati Koot in Nangahar province.
